My major interest is in the field of Information Technology, where, in recent times, I have concentrated on teaching and the Internet. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Experience with computers since 1967 and with personal computers since 1977, involving:

• During terms 2 and 3 of 2005, employed under contract for the Computers in Schools Rollout (T4L Programme).
• Written a number of both entry level and advanced IT training manuals. These manuals are currently used by a number of organisations.
• a broad knowledge of software, systems (including technical), peripherals and system management;
• Part Time Teacher at TAFE (currently Inverell and formally at Armidale Campus), running training programmes for the Armidale & District Business Enterprise Centre and private training and tutoring;
• Written 96 different PC programmes and associated manuals (including their several upgrades) for:
  • Agriculture
  • Small Business
  • Sport Administration
  • Church & Community Groups
  • General use
• a number of contract packages;
• since 1982, software written under the name ArComPro;
• experience in network management

OTHER INTERESTS

I have a wide interest in sport and music. I have played many different sports and am still an active sportsman. In the area of music, I play a multiple of instruments as well as write music.

PUBLICATIONS

I have a very large range of publications that I have written and co-written, primarily in Information Technology and in Community Leadership.

I have written all the manuals associated with my own software; I have written a series of training and other youth related manuals; I have written a series of text books designed for use as both a teaching aid and for self-teaching; as well as other items.
